ccording to state media, the president will present the civil award to Nadeem in a special ceremony, recognising his outstanding contributions in the field of sports.
Following the President’s directive, the Aiwan-e-Sadr has sent a letter to the Cabinet Division for the formal conferment of the award.
In the letter, President Zardari stated, “Arshad Nadeem’s remarkable performance has made the nation proud on the global stage. His outstanding success in athletics is a source of pride for the country.”
The Hilal-e-Imtiaz will be awarded to Nadeem under Article 259(2) of the Constitution, which empowers the president to confer honours upon Pakistani citizens for distinguished services in various fields.

Arshad Nadeem is being awarded 150M Pkr, which is 4.5 Crore INR or 538’000$’s.
Out of which 100M is being awarded by Chief Minister of Punjab Pakistan, Maryam Nawz and a futher of 2 Million is being awarded by Punjab governor Sardar Saleem Haider Khan. 50 Million PKR will be rewarded to Nadeem by CHief Minister Of Sindh.
